Whenever a goal is set, people often ask about expectations. What do you hope to achieve? How far do you think you can go?
But here’s the real question: Why aim low?
If you write a book, why not aim to sell millions? If you start a business, why not aim to lead your industry? If you step onto the field, why not aim to be great?
Too often, people set safe goals. Goals they know they can reach. Goals that protect them from disappointment. But aiming for mediocrity guarantees mediocrity. And if you fall short of a low goal, the result might not even be worth mentioning.
