Be Known for What You Do.
I am in the process of wrapping up a 22-month discipleship class with a group of guys from my church. When you sign up, they make one thing very clear right away: you better learn to love reading, because you’re going to read a lot.
As I was leaving class recently, my mind went back to the very first week. I was sitting at the kitchen table reading my Bible when my six-year-old daughter walked into the room and asked, “Dad, what are you doing?” It was such an innocent question, and at the same time, it hit me hard.
I realized something in that moment.
