Courage Spreads
“Courage is contagious. When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are stiffened.” – Billy Graham
Fear feels much heavier when you believe you are facing it alone.
When challenges appear and uncertainty creeps in, it is easy for doubt to spread quickly through a group of people. Fear has a way of making individuals feel isolated, even when others around them are experiencing the exact same thing.
But courage works in much the same way.
The moment one person chooses to stand firm, speak up, or move forward despite fear, something begins to change in everyone around them. People start to realize that courage is possible. The same fear that once felt overwhelming suddenly loses some of its power.
That is why leadership matters so much in difficult moments.
People are not truly inspired by wealth, titles, or status when adversity arrives. In moments of pressure, those things mean very little. What people respond to is courage.
