Go Get It
If your ship doesn’t come in, swim out to it. – Jonathan Winters
From the moment we are born, someone is there to take care of us. Someone feeds us, protects us, and makes sure we have what we need to survive.
But as we grow older, that responsibility shifts.
Eventually, it becomes completely up to us.
That doesn’t just mean getting what we need. It means going after what we want.
Sometimes opportunities seem to fall right into place. Doors open.
Things come easy. But those moments don’t last forever. Eventually, the wind stops blowing in your direction.
And when that happens, nothing is going to land in your lap.
