Hang On

“When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt

Sometimes when it rains, it pours.

One thing goes wrong. Then another. Then another. Before long it feels like you are buried under a pile of problems wondering when things will finally turn in your favor.

Here is the truth. Storms do not last forever.

The law of averages alone tells us that not everything can stay bad indefinitely. Life swings. Seasons shift. What feels overwhelming today will eventually pass.

We hear sayings like:
The night is darkest before the dawn.
There is light at the end of the tunnel.
The sun will rise again.

They are repeated because they are true.
