Nothing Worthwhile Comes Easy

“Nothing worthwhile comes easily. Work, continuous work, and hard work is the only way to accomplish results that last.” – Hamilton Holt

I love this quote, especially the first part. Nothing worthwhile comes easily. That idea pairs perfectly with another quote I’ve always liked: “If it were easy, everyone would do it.”

And if everyone were doing it, it wouldn’t be special.

If achieving your goals were easy, the reward wouldn’t mean nearly as much. A big part of the satisfaction that comes from success isn’t found in the finished product. It’s found in knowing how hard you worked to make it happen.

Thomas Edison once said, “There is no substitute for hard work.”
