It’s often said that youth is wasted on the young. Some dismiss that as a complaint from older generations, but there’s a lot of truth behind it. Many young people believe they already know enough, even though this is the stage of life when their minds are most capable of absorbing knowledge.
When we’re young, our brains are like sponges, ready to soak up everything around us. Unfortunately, many people don’t realize how valuable that time is until it’s passed. As we get older, we often find ourselves saying things like, “I wish I would have learned this,” or “I wish I would have done that.”
