Smile Because It Happened
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” – Dr. Seuss
“The End” can be hard to accept.
Whether it is a relationship, a season, a team, a job, or a chapter in life, endings can sting. When something good finishes, it is natural to feel sadness.
But perspective changes everything.
Too often, when something ends, we focus only on the loss. We replay what went wrong. We analyze the pain. We dwell on what we wish had been different.
But what about the joy it once brought?
If a relationship brought laughter and growth, why let the ending erase the good? If a season of life was full of memories, why allow its conclusion to overshadow the experiences?
