Switch Seats

I once saw a bumper sticker that read, “God is my co-pilot.” It reminded me of a sermon where the pastor said, “If God is your co-pilot, you need to switch seats.”

I agree.

Too often we treat God like a passenger. We make the plans. We set the schedule. We control the direction. And God just sits there waiting for us to ask for advice.

But God was never meant to be the co-pilot. He’s meant to be the one in control.

Isaiah 55:8–11 reminds us that God’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours. He understands what we cannot see. He has a plan that goes far beyond our limited perspective.

So why not trust the One who designed life to lead it?
