Use the Obstacle
“An obstacle is often a stepping stone.” – William Prescott
When we think about the future, it is easy to imagine a smooth path with everything falling into place exactly as planned. We picture progress without interruption and success without resistance. But in reality, that kind of path rarely exists.
Obstacles are inevitable.
No matter what direction you choose in life, there will be moments where something stands in your way. Plans will be disrupted, progress will slow, and challenges will appear when you least expect them. The mistake many people make is viewing those obstacles as something negative, something unfair, or something that should not be there at all.
In truth, obstacles serve a much greater purpose.
They force you to adjust. They push you to think differently. They require you to become stronger, more patient, and more capable than you were before. Without them, growth would be limited and progress would come without any real test of who you are.
